Northern Health is looking for an experienced, highly efficient, and self-directed permanent full time Assistant to support Internal Recruitment.
The Assistant Internal Recruitment works collaboratively with managers and human resources, staff scheduling and payroll staff to ensure the quality and integrity of data entered the Human Resource Information Systems HRIS. The incumbent assists managers with a variety of tasks such as filling vacancies, processing and assisting with selection of internal candidates. The incumbent responds to requests and inquiries from clients or redirects as appropriate.
Starting salary will be approximately from $52,156 to $65,195 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions

• Diploma in Human Resources Management plus three (3) to five (5) years recent related experience in HR, Staffing or Payroll, including working knowledge of human resource information systems, preferably in a large multi-union environment. • Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Skills and Abilities:
• Knowledge of customer relationship/customer service practices. • Knowledge of human resource practices. • Ability to pay close attention to detail, maintaining a high degree of accuracy and balancing multiple priorities. • Strong computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office Suite and database applications. • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. • Ability to deal with others effectively using a customer service approach. • Ability to adapt and be flexible to changing priorities and demands. • Ability to analyze and find solutions to issues. • Ability to work successfully within a team environment. • Ability to type 40 w.p.m. • Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines. • Ability to take initiative to develop and improve systems, procedures, and processes. • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
