Position Summary

Under the general direction of the Regional Manager, Community Care Facilities Licensing and Protection Program Services, the Coordinator, Protection Program Services is responsible for managing, planning and directing the day-to-day administrative functions to ensure effective administrative support to the portfolio. The incumbent is responsible for planning, labour relations, human resources and management, within established policies and procedures. The position oversees the work of designated Protection Program Services (PPS) clerical staff in the Northeast, Northwest and Northern Interior Health Service Delivery Areas (HSDA).
 
Qualifications

- Diploma in Administrative Management, Business Administration or a related discipline;
- Three (3) to five (5) years progressive work experience supporting senior level management with at least two (2) years in a supervisory capacity;
- Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
