Position Summary

The Health Service Administrator (HSA) provides leadership in the planning, integration, delivery and evaluation of programs and services for the assigned site or health service delivery area in the context of a regional system of service delivery. The HSA ensures that quality care is provided and that the strategic goals and objectives of Northern Health, the Health Service Delivery Area (HSDA) and Community Business Plans are achieved. The incumbent participates as a key member of the Senior Management Team of the Northeast HSDA to build and implement operational plans to achieve strategic
priorities.
 
Qualifications

- A Masters Degree in a Health Administration or a related discipline;
- Seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience in progressively senior health care administration roles;
- Or an equivalent combination of education, experience and training.

Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of community and long-term care operations, including an understanding of the interrelationships between the various professional/non-professional staff within the facilities.
