Position Summary
			The Opportunity
Northern Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the Lakes District Hospital Primary Care Clinic team in Burns Lake. This part-time position (0.6 FTE) offers flexibility and the chance to provide longitudinal primary care to patients of all ages. The NP will attach a patient panel and contribute to a collaborative, culturally safe care environment supported by physicians, other nurse practitioners, primary care assistants,  and an interprofessional team.
Key Responsibilities
•	Deliver longitudinal primary care to a diverse patient population.
•	Attach patients per the Provincial Attachment System (PAS) guidelines. 
•	Use Electronic Medical Record (EMR) for documentation and care coordination. 
•	Collaborate with a supportive team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and allied health professionals.
•	Participate in team-based care and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

About the Hospital
The Lakes District Hospital and Health Centre is a modern facility that opened in 2015 to meet the growing healthcare needs of Burns Lake and surrounding communities. The hospital includes:
•	16 beds for acute and emergency care
•	Diagnostic imaging, laboratory, and pharmacy services
•	Dedicated space for mental health and addictions services
The facility supports a client-focused, team-based approach to care and is a cornerstone of health services in the region.
Salary Range
New Graduate NP - $145,739 
1 Year Experience - $153,026 
2 Years Experience - $160,313

			Qualifications
			Education and Experience
-	Completion of BCCNM approved Master’s degree level nurse practitioner program.
-	Eligible for registration as a Nurse Practitioner with British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

-	Ability to collaborate, consult with and formally refer patients/clients/residents to physicians and other health professionals when appropriate.
