The Senior Operating Officer (SOO) provides leadership in all aspects of the operations of the assigned portfolio area to ensure that quality care and services are provided and that the strategic goals and objectives outlined in the Northern Health Strategic Plan and Service Plan are achieved. Ensures the integration of teams within the portfolio to effectively and efficiently deliver a continuum of services designed to meet local needs within Northern Health’s Strategic Plan. Operates as a core member of the NH Operations Leadership Team, collaborating to develop, implement and evaluate strategic priorities for health service operations. Leads the planning and implementation of change and innovation initiatives within the portfolio. Establishes a culture of staff and physician engagement and safety throughout all areas of responsibility.
Starting salary will be approximately from $170,841 to $213,551 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.

Qualifications
• A Masters Degree in a Health Administration or a related discipline, plus ten (10) to fifteen (15) years of experience in progressively senior health care administration roles, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
