Position Summary
Northern Health is looking for an experienced, highly efficient, and self-directed permanent full time Administrative Assistant to support the Population & Public Health department.
The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Regional Manager(s) and staff within the applicable program(s). Screens and prioritizes incoming materials, processes and monitors expenditures/contracts verifying accuracy and following up on discrepancies, gathers and compiles a variety of departmental information, and generates related reports. Arranges for building maintenance and repairs, coordinates office equipment changes and provides input into the development and evaluation of policies, procedures and standards.
This position can be located in Prince George (PGNFC), Fort St. John, or Dawson Creek.
Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days - 08:00 to 16:00

Qualifications
• Grade 12, completion of an Office Administration Certificate, and three (3) years of recent, related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
