Position Summary
Northern Health is looking for an experienced, highly efficient, and self-directed permanent full time Administrative Coordinator to support the minimum Nurse to Patient Ratio team.
The Administrative Coordinator, minimum Nurse to Patient Ratio (mNPR) is responsible for ensuring and supporting effective and timely coordination and functioning of key administrative processes, projects, and programs. The incumbent triages information of a sensitive and confidential nature, coordinates the flow of information, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of administrative services, and keeps the Executive Director and mNPR team apprised of issues and activities. This position will have responsibilities related to budget and project funding, human resources, planning, implementation of mNPR, reports and, liaising with various internal and external partners.
Starting salary will be approximately from $57,347 to $71,684 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.

Qualifications
• Diploma of Business Administration from an accredited institution, plus three (3) to five (5) years progressive administrative assistant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Skills and Abilities:
• Experience in Project Management and/or Quality Improvement considered an asset.
• Ability to function with little or no supervision and to effectively handle pressure with a varied workload and tight deadlines.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with staff and key stakeholders in an effective and professional manner.
