Position Summary

Reporting to the Manager, the Clinical Practice Leader contributes to the delivery of patient care and the enhancement of professional nursing practice through clinical practice, practice assessment and development, clinical consultation, quality improvement, care coordination and other leadership activities. Clinical Practice Leaders work as part of the leadership team and work collaboratively with others to positively impact patient care and nursing practice.
 
Qualifications

- Registration with BC College of Nursing Professionals as a practicing RN registrant.
- Five (5) years recent related clinical experience and demonstrated clinical competence (knowledge, skills, attitude and judgment) pertinent to the relevant clinical setting.
- Two years’ recent experience in a leadership and/ or education role.

- Ability to communicate effectively - verbally and in writing at all levels.
- Physical and mental ability to carry out the duties of the position.
- Ability to organize own workload, establish priorities and work independently.
