Position Summary

Under the general supervision of the Manager, Mental Health and Addiction Services, PG community, this position provides clerical and reception duties for the ACT, CRU, COAST AND CAST teams in Prince George. These duties include typing, filing, photocopying, scheduling clients and data entry of all client information. This position provides information to clients, public and community agencies and records hours of work and approved leaves for payroll purposes.
 
Qualifications

- Grade 12.
- Office Administration Certificate.
- One (1) years’ recent related experience
Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Or other Qualifications determined to be reasonable and relevant to the level of work.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to type 60 wpm.
- Knowledge of general office procedures.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently and in cooperation with others.
- Ability to relate to the public and clients and coworkers.
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload.
- Ability to establish and maintain rapport with clients.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
