Position Summary

The Health Service Administrator (HSA) provides leadership in the planning, integration, delivery and evaluation of programs and services for Burns Lake, Granisle and Southside. The HSA ensures that quality care is provided and that the strategic goals and objectives of Northern Health, Health Service Delivery Area (HSDA) and Community Business Plans are achieved. The incumbent participates as a key member of the Senior Management Team of the Northern Interior (NI) HSDA to build and implement operational plans to achieve strategic priorities.
 
Qualifications

- A Masters Degree in a Health Administration or a related discipline;
- Ten (10) to fifteen (15) years of experience in progressively senior health care administration roles.

- Knowledge of the operations of acute care hospitals and health centers, including an understanding of the interrelationships between the various professional/non-professional staff within the facilities.
- Knowledge of community and long-term care operations, including an understanding of the interrelationships between the various professional/non-professional staff within the facilities.
