Position Summary

Using a strong client service approach, and as a senior member of the HR team, the Regional Director, Recruitment & Retention is responsible for the planned design, development, implementation and management of innovative recruitment, retention and engagement strategies through programs, processes and services that increase organizational effectiveness and health at NH. The incumbent provides consultation, advice and support in change management, organizational effectiveness and culture, and performance improvement issues. The Director works closely with leadership teams in each HSDA to ensure initiatives have the maximum impact and effectiveness and serves as a resource that HR groups and the HSDA management teams can leverage to improve their own organizational effectiveness. Participates in corporate initiatives and internal committees to provide leadership, input and advice on relevant organizational development issues. Liaises with Co-Directors to provide leadership in policy development, priority setting, program planning and service delivery, working collaboratively with others.

- Masters degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field plus ten (10) to fifteen (15)
years progressive experience in recruitment, retention and organizational development in a large, complex
environment, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and use judgment in balancing multiple priorities
in a fast paced environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of measurement and evaluation systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge of change management tools and their application in an organizational setting.
